WNJ’s recently remodeled maternity suites provide an environment to help mothers from labor through recovery and to help babies thrive.

WNJ’s emergency department is a Level III trauma center certified nationally by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center, and recognized by the Texas department of State Health Services as a Primary (Level II) Stroke Facility. Positioned for fast and effective intervention, the area includes additional treatment rooms for critical cases and family friendly accommodations. The department is ideally located to provide quick access to operating rooms, open-heart surgery suites, the cardiac catheterization lab and the radiology area.

The recently remodeled maternity department allows the best possible environment for helping mothers from labor through recovery and for helping babies thrive. Our Mother-Baby care focuses on keeping mothers and babies close and provides amenities like large, comfortable beds, bigger rooms, and new furniture to accommodate the whole family.

Despite all the miraculous changes and advancements in health-care, the focus at WNJ is the same as when it opened its door a century ago – our patients.
